The Eclipse Dechem Studio Pendant Lamp encompasses 2 metalized glass discs with a source of soft light at the back of the gleaming brass details in the midst of them. The flat, levitating piece looks like two eclipsing celestial bodies when you view them from definite angles.

The Pendant Eclipse Dechem Studio Lamp is an ideal name for a lighting fixture made of glass – a flexible, sturdy, and rigid but fragile material. The lamp is suspended vertically at Ø 50 cm by h 60 cm, 15 kg and suspended horizontally at Ø 50 cm by h 35 cm, 15 kg. The cord is textile coated in black, measuring 3 by 0.75, 150 cm. the fixture is polished brass while the color of glass is flat metalized. LED 12 V, 15 W is the light source of the suspension lamp.

About Dechem Studio

Dechem studio was established in Prague in 2012 by Michaela Tomiskova and Jakub Jandourek. Since establishing the studio they have focused on product design and maintained a special focus on glass, exploring traditional Bohemian craft techniques for preparing, gathering, shaping and blowing clear and coloured glass into wooden and metal forms. The glass is then finished with centuries-old techniques, like snapping, grinding and firing, and decorated by the most experienced craftsmen by engraving, cutting and painting.
