When automotive engineer, George Carwardine came upon a formula for a new type of spring, he had fashioned the blueprint for a innovative articulated task lamp that could combine the ultimate in flexibility and perfect stability. Two years later the Original 1227 was born.

The Anglepoise Original 1227 Mini Wall Light is the smallest addition to the Original 1227 wall light family. It might be diminutive but it is certainly not diminished. It is playful, versatile, classic and completely authentic. It boasts with the traditional chrome fittings, and the traditional shade shape and plaques are etched with the original Anglepoise logo.

The Anglepoise Original 1227 Mini Wall Light is scaled down to two-thirds of the Original 1227’s wall lamp size. However, the Anglepoise Original 1227 Mini Wall Light Collection is playful, versatile and a more contemporary version of the most iconic and beloved 1930’s Anglepoise design.

Although it is two-thirds the size of the much-loved Original 1227, it is the Original 1227 Mini wall light. It is a smaller version of this iconic 1930s design, featuring the Anglepoise original constant tension spring mechanism.

The Anglepoise Original 1227 Mini Wall Light is available in four colors: linen white, jet black, and dove grey and pure white. It has a glossed paint finish, a steel shade an aluminum arm. The plate fittings are chrome.
