The Original 1227 Collection was launched in 1935. It is considered to be the iconic Anglepoise collection. It was made famous by the spring technology provided by George Carwardine. The Anglepoise Original 1227 Desk Lamp Collection is playful, versatile and a more contemporary version of the most iconic and beloved 1930’s Anglepoise.

The Anglepoise Original 1227 Desk Lamp has a high gloss paint finish. The shade is 100% aluminum and has chrome plated fittings. The iconic base is made of Cast iron and has a steel cover. The arms are aluminum and count with the constant tension spring technology. is available in three colors: dove grey, linen white, jet black, and dove grey and bright chrome.
